Healthy Flourless Banana Loaf

Healthy Flourless Banana Loaf

If you have a few overripe bananas sitting on the counter, this easy and delicious loaf is the perfect way to use them. It’s soft, moist, naturally sweet, and made without flour, making it a great option for breakfast, snack time, or a light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
(you can also use sunflower oil or any oil you have on hand)
  • 1/2 cup oats
(rolled oats or quick oats both work)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
(unsweetened or sweetened, whichever you prefer)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey
    (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and place them in a large bowl. Mash them well with a fork until smooth.
  2. Add the oil and stir until combined.
  3. Mix in the oats, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  4. Add the honey and stir everything together until the batter is well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan. You can lightly grease the pan or line it with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool slightly before slicing.

This loaf is perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack. It’s moist, tender, chocolatey, and best of all, completely flourless.
