Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 200 g chocolate
- 80 g sugar
Preparation
1. Melt the chocolate
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave until smooth.
2. Whip the egg whites
Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form.
3. Add the yolks
Mix the egg yolks into the melted chocolate until well combined.
4. Fold in the egg whites
Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the chocolate mixture using soft, careful movements so the batter stays light.
5. Pour into the pan
Pour the batter into a buttered 18 cm cake pan.
6. Bake
Bake at 170°C (340°F) for about 25 minutes.
