It’s said that the actress rolled down the window of her car to talk to the down-on-his-luck stranger. Not only did she give the wheelchair-bound man a bag containing essential items, but she also had the presence of mind to notice that he was barefooted.

Not content to stop there, the 13 Going on 30 star proceeded to pull the shoes off her own feet and attempt to give them to the man too.

It soon became apparent that the shoes didn’t fit, but Garner, undeterred, approached a nearby paparazzo – who had been trailing her – and asked if he could help.

“What size feet do you have?” she asked, as per Page Six. “Can I buy your shoes for him? He needs a shoe.”

The photographer asked what size the man needed, with Garner informing him that the homeless man was “10 and a half.”

“Oh, I’m 11! Want me to give it to him? I can give it to him,” the paparazzo responded. To his credit, the photographer refused payment from Garner and gave up his shoes freely.

Of course, Garner’s generosity likely won’t come as a surprise to anyone who’s followed her life and career closely. The actress has long been an advocate of helping others in need, having partnered with Save the Children over a decade ago.

“While I did not grow up poor I was surrounded by it and I always said I was a generation and a holler removed from rural poverty,” she once told Southern Living.

“And I went looking and ended up with Save the Children. Because they are definitely the leaders in helping kids in rural America.”

Man ‘brain dead for 90 minutes’ met Jesus and has his message

The biggest mystery on earth just might be what happens to someone once they die. The answer to this question can vary greatly depending on who you ask and their beliefs.

After a near-death experience, which led to a three-day-long coma in 2024. During this period, Robert Marshall says he met Jesus.

He appeared as a guest on the Next Level Soul Podcast, where he spoke in detail about his life-changing experience. Robert shared that while his experience was not a ‘near-death’ one but that he had ‘actually died’. He said, “I was dead for three days.”

In May of 2024, he went to an outpatient emergency room to get a ‘very large mass on his neck that was swollen’ checked out.

“They did MRI, blood tests. I was having trouble breathing, that’s why I went there,” he shared.

He talked about his experience in his book, 44 Hours in Heaven. Robert shared how he had gone into ‘code blue’ three times.

He later found out, according to his book, that he was ‘drowning on his blood in his lungs, acute hypoxic respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest’.

He claims during this time, he had goen to heaven and met Jesus.

He described the setting as one with giant oak trees, flowers, and ‘the most vibrant colors.’ He also recalled feeling an overwhelming amount of ‘peace and love’.

Upon meeting Jesus, Robert recalled that even though he was in awe, he asked to be ‘sent back’ simply to comfort his wife because he ‘felt every bit of her pain’.

This is when he got the message from Jesus, after which doctors were able to revive him.

He then revealed what Jesus said to him, “When you first came before me, you asked if you could go back.”

He joked, “I went ‘oh he did hear!’,” at this the podcast host Alex Ferrari replied, “I don’t think Jesus is hard of hearing.”

Robert went on to recount what Jesus said to him, “He said ‘your brain has been destroyed’, obviously.”

Jesus then went on to say, “I could and would send you back with some caveats. I’ll send you back with a miracle that nobody could ever deny, not the doctors, not the nurses, not scientists, nobody could ever deny that I am God and I did this, and there’s no question that I’m alive, I’m real, heaven is real.”

Robert shared that Jesus told him that he would give him a ‘new brain’ and also ‘restore your entire memory’.

Micheál Neeson was only 13 when he lost his star mother

The love story of these two stars began when they starred together in Anna Christie on Broadway in 1993, where sparks flew despite the actress being married at the time.

Eventually, her marriage ended, and she and the actor married in 1994, raising two sons together.

The couple’s deep connection was evident early on, with the describing an undeniable chemistry between them that carried through to their performances.

Even the actress said herself years later that she was unfazed that the actor was known for being a ladies man, commenting: “I’m pleased that women fall in love with him because I know why,” per Country Living.

Their love only grew stronger after marriage, and they embraced parenthood, welcoming their first son in 1995, followed shortly by a second son 18 months later.

However, heartbreak struck when the actress, Natasha Richardson, sustained a head injury while skiing in 2009. Initially dismissing the fall, she soon deteriorated, and doctors determined she was brain dead.

Neeson, recalling a pact they’d made, made the difficult decision to take her off life support after allowing family and friends to say their goodbyes.

Years later, Micheál also decided to pay tribute to his mother by changing his surname to Richardson.

He explained: “It was mainly like a homage to my mother, a way to carry her with me,” per The Times.

Neeson, proud of his son’s decision, found comfort in how Micheál carries on Natasha’s legacy through his name and career.
