Transforms simple potatoes into a spectacular side dish: crispy on the outside, incredibly creamy on the inside, with an intense flavor of butter, garlic and herbs. Ideal for Sunday lunches or festive meals.
Ingredients (4 servings)
For potatoes
1 kg potatoes
2 sprigs of rosemary
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground pepper, to taste
For flavored butter
100 g softened butter
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Grated zest from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon chopped chives
Preparation method
1. Prepare the potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into equal pieces for even cooking. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss with olive oil and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Add the rosemary sprigs and place the tray in a preheated oven at 200°C.
2. Prepare the flavored butter
Mix the softened butter with the crushed garlic, parsley, lemon zest and chopped chives. The flavored butter will add fragrance and flavor to the potatoes.
3. Finishing the potatoes
After 30 minutes, remove the tray and pour the flavored butter over the hot potatoes. Return the tray to the oven for another 15–20 minutes, until the potatoes are golden, crispy, and nicely caramelized.
The result
