Quick & Easy Apple Cake 🍎



Just 3 apples and 10 minutes of prep are all you need to fill your home with the irresistible aroma of this delightful cake! Chances are, you already have everything you need in your kitchen.

Ingredients (for a 20 cm baking pan):

For the apple layer:

  • 3 apples
  • 2–4 tablespoons of sugar (to taste)

For the batter:

  • 3 eggs, at room temperature
  • 75 g sugar
  • 8 g vanilla sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 100 g melted butter

Instructions:

1. Prepare the batter:
In a large bowl, beat the eggs together with the sugar and vanilla sugar until the mixture turns pale, fluffy, and creamy. Sift in the flour combined with the baking powder and gently mix until smooth. Finally, pour in the melted butter and stir until fully incorporated.

2. Prepare the apples:
Peel the apples (if desired) and cut them into small cubes. Toss them with sugar to taste and spread them evenly across the bottom of a greased 20 cm baking pan.

3. Bake:
Pour the batter over the apples, making sure to cover them completely. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

4. Serve:
Let the cake cool slightly, then dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.

💡 Tip: This cake is delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
